The film was directed by Frasco Mortiz, and it will be released on Christmas Day. A girl in a red dress (Empress Schuck), visits the funeral of her boyfriend (Enchong Dee) who hung himself. She is driven away by the boy's mother, insisting her son died because of her. When she arrives home, her sister asked her if she did the "pagpag" but she doesn't believed in it afterwards, she is suddenly taunted by the ghost of her dead boyfriend.

In 1986, Ongkoy is living a peaceful life in Zamboanga del Norte with his family. But he’s drawn back to Ozamiz by an old friend, who asked him to intercede in the growing conflict between the military and the NPA rebels that have taken root in the region. Over the next few years, Ongkoy and his family wage war against various armed interests, putting their lives at risk in the name of peace and protecting the masses.

A group of people gets stuck in a basement parking for the night. At the onset, some are irritated and just can’t wait to go home, while some don’t even give a damn, knowing they can easily come out the next day. But when the power is shut off and as it gets close to midnight, strange things start to happen.

It starts when Roberto Ong (Bob Ong), not wanting to attend his elementary school homecoming because of his fear of not living up to others’ expectations of him. He then recalls his days back in elementary, high school and early adult, his adventures with his friends and his secret affection towards his “special someone."

Oscar flees from a life of poverty and moves with his family to Manila. They fall victim to the hardened locals until Oscar finds work with an armored car company.

100 chronicles the last three months of a cancer stricken woman who has a list of things to do before she dies. Her list of tasks, mostly closures and practical undertakings, expands to the worldly and the spiritual as people close to her share her last days. The film examines the betrayal of the body, celebrates the senses and contemplates the end of life and how to live it.

On the eve of his 25th birthday, the day he’s set to receive money from his trust fund, Rocco (Xian Lim) parties, gets drunk and loses all his money on a poker match. His dilemma: He has to produce the amount, otherwise he will lose the client he needs to defeat his father’s TV commercial production company. Meanwhile, Rocky (Kim Chiu) also needs money to pay the rent, otherwise her family will be homeless. There’s only one way for Rocco to be able to get money from his trust fund: Fulfill the conditions set by his grandmother and that is to get married. Rocky agrees to act as Rocco’s pseudo wife in exchange for a “talent fee.” They seal the deal. As they live like a married couple, Rocco and Rocky face one problem after another, forcing them with no alternative but to reconcile their differences and work with each other. Complication arises when they start to feel for each other, with their bond getting closer. Question: Will they be able to make their agreement work or will they be victims of their own scheme and turn their whole pretence into something real?

The official trailer for the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry Kaleidoscope World, which pays tribute to the music of the late Francis Magalona, has been released. The movie is about a street dancer’s life – its ups and downs and his young love. It also boasts to be the first ever hip hop dance musical film in the Philippines.

Pedro Calungsod: Batang Martir, also known as Journey of a Young Saint is a 2013 Philippine biographical film depicting the life and martyrdom of Saint Pedro Calungsod. Written and directed by Francis O. Villacorta and produced by HPI Synergy Group and Wings Entertainment, it is an official entry to the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival, and is scheduled for release on December 25, 2013. Rocco Nacino stars as Calungsod, who is only the second Filipino canonised by the Catholic Church after Saint Lorenzo Ruíz de Manila. This film serves as a movie adaptation of the docu-drama TV special aired on GMA News TV on October 21, 2012 as the canonization of the said saint where Rocco Nacino reprises his role to the film.

Kimmy Dora: Ang Kiyemeng Prequel is a 2013 Filipino comedy action film directed by Chris Martinez, starring Eugene Domingo and Sam Milby. It is the prequel and the final installment of the Kimmy Dora film series. The film is one of the official entries of the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival that will be distributed by Spring Films with co-production of MJM Productions and Quantum Films that is to be released in theaters on Christmas Day (December 25, 2013). The film is set before the events of Kimmy Dora: Kambal sa Kiyeme wherein the twins are seen disputing the ownership of the family corporation. The film was inspired by the James Bond film series in terms of musical score and visual effects. Piolo Pascual was reportedly the leading man of Domingo in the film but was replaced by Sam Milby due to busy schedule.

Boy Golden (also known as Boy Golden: Shoot-to-Kill) is a 2013 Filipino film about the life of Arturo Porcuna who rises through the Manila underworld in the 1960s until his murder. It has been selected to be a part of the 39th Metro Manila Film Festival. This action packed movie is inspired by a true story, the life of Arturo Porcuna alias "Boy Golden" played by ER Ejercito. It said that Boy Golden was one of the most notorious gangster in Manila in the early 60's. As what most gangsters do they intend to exterminate their rivals and for Boy Golden he was presumed dead, afterwards he returned with vengeance with the rival gang. Along the way he met Marla Dee which was played by KC Concepction, a woman with a vindictive agenda just like Boy Golden. The two of joins forces like Bonnie and Clyde as they pursue with their motive.

It tells the story of quadruplet siblings played by Vice Ganda which the girl and the boy grew in the custody of their rich father while the "bakla" (Mark) and "tomboy" (Panying) grew in their poor mother. But destiny makes a way to make their paths cross in an unexpected way. Two of them meet in the mall (The Girl, (Girlie) and the Gay, (Mark), wherein one of them was arrested after being mistaken as the one who shoplifted an item. But when things go wrong, Dad reveals they are not just twins, but quadruplets. As the four of them meet and their parents confess the truth as to why they were parted, they will be facing another challenge as one of them is in need of a liver transplant.
